Cesc Fabregas Biography
Cesc Fabregas biography. His full name Francesc Fabregas Soler or Cesc Fabregas was born on May 4, 1987 in Vilessoc de Mar, Spain. His nickname is Cesc, which is short for his first name. He really likes playing football. Cesc Fabregas' father owned a property company. When he was little, his grandfather immediately sent Cesc to the Barcelona football school. So most of Cesc's time is spent playing football. Fabregas started playing football at FC Barcelona. During his career in the youth team, he always played as a defensive midfielder or in the Spanish term Volante.
Despite being a prolific goalscorer, having scored more than 30 goals in one season, he never got the chance to play in the first team at Camp Nou (FC Barcelona Headquarters). Feeling that his playing opportunities were limited if he stayed at FC Barcelona, he decided to move. On September 11, 2003, Cesc Fabregas finally moved to England and played for Arsenal. The conditions of the Premier League game, which is famous for its kick and rush, made him a bit confused. Cesc is a Latino who likes to dodge balls.
At first living in the London capital made it difficult for him to adapt, but then he started to befriend his team-mate Philippe Senderos who helped him adapt to life in London. At the age of 16, Fabregas never thought about joining the first team but he continued to learn from his seniors, Patrick Vieira and Gilberto Silva while concentrating on training and learning English. Not long after, he made his debut on 23 October 2003 in a League Cup tie against Rotherham United. By playing him in the game, he became Arsenal's youngest player at the age of 16 years 177 days.
He did not always appear to play for the Gunners (as Arsenal FC) in his first season with Arsenal FC, but following injuries to the core midfielders in the 2004-2005 season, his playing opportunities for Arsenal FC increased. Not long after, he won the trust to become a core player in central midfield with Gilberto Silva. After becoming a starter at a young age, he managed to break several club records, having earned a reputation as a technically gifted player, an excellent passer, and a key player in his team. When Gilberto Silva functions as a defender, Fabregas has the main function as an attack regulator or playmaker.
It wasn't long before he was finally able to appear in the first team in Premier League matches in the 2004-2005 season, previously he had only appeared in League Cup matches. His first match at the start of the season was in the Community Shield championship game in 2004 against Manchester United in a 3-1 win. With Patrick Vieira injured, Fabregas entered and replaced Patrick Vieira's senior position and appeared in a row in 4 Premier League matches. He won praise in the match, he even scored a goal in the match against Blackburn Rovers with a 3-0 win, and became Arsenal's youngest player to score in a Premier League match.
With the continuing injuries to Edu and Gilberto Silva, the opportunity for this young player to play has increased in all competitions. In the UEFA Champions League, he became the second youngest goalscorer in the history of the competition, he scored in the match against Rosenborg in a 5-1 win. Fabregas ended his first season with Arsenal FC by winning his first award in the FA Cup Final match against Manchester United FC which ended on penalties with Arsenal winning 5-4.
Following the departure of Arsenal captain Patrick Vieira to Juventus, Fabregas began playing regularly in the first team in a midfield position alongside Gilberto Silva. Having inherited the jersey number 4 from Vieira, Fabregas made 49 appearances in all competitions during the 2005-2006 season. Despite his young age, his performances came under greater scrutiny due to his increased involvement in the first team. Furthermore, because Fabregas has a smaller stature and plays less aggressively than Vieira, many doubt his ability to fill the void left by Vieira. However, Fabregas displayed his own style of play and impressed football observers in his matches in the Champions League against Real Madrid and Juventus. In the match against Juventus he scored the first goal and provided the ball to Thierry Henry who scored the second goal, at the same time Fabregas proved that he could face the game and tackle hard midfielders like Vieira. He then played in the Champions League Final against his former club Barcelona, but Arsenal lost with a score of 1-2, with this result Arsenal completed the 2005-2006 season without a trophy.
With speculation increasing over the transfer of Fabregas in the summer, Real Madrid wanted to sign him even though Fabregas had a long-term contract with Arsenal. But Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger said he would not listen to offers from anywhere for his players. In September 2006, with 6 years remaining on the contract, Arsenal submitted a new offer, namely an 8-year contract which was later agreed to by Fabregas and signed on October 19, 2006. Although the contract period was not as long as usual, Fabregas said that Arsenal's playing style and manager Arsene Wenger as the reason in his long-term commitment to his club Arsenal FC.
As a result of his performance in the under-17 team, he was called up by Luis Aragonés, coach of the Spanish national team, to become a senior player in the Spanish national football team and played at the 2006 World Cup in Germany (9 June – 9 July 2006) and the European Championship. 2008 (June 7-29 2008) in Switzerland and Austria where in this tournament Spain came out as champion as well as making Spain Rank 1 in the FIFA World Ranking list and in this tournament Fabregas became one of the key players.
Fabregas finally chose to return to his original club, FC Barcelona and officially became an FC Barcelona player after a tough transfer process between FC Barcelona and Arsenal. He has a contract with FC Barcelona until 2016 with a buy-out clause of 200 million euros. His debut match occurred during the Spanish Super Cup against Real Madrid. He was brought on in the 83rd minute to replace Pedro. He scored his first goal during the Joan Gamper Cup and also led FC Barcelona to win after beating SSC Napoli 5-0. He also contributed one goal in the UEFA Super Cup match and in the first week of the Spanish League when FC Barcelona beat Villarreal CF 5 goals without reply. Several years at Barcelona, he then moved to Chelsea after being linked with a return to Arsenal but he preferred to join Chelsea.
